My Dad’s ability to draw is second only to his ability to multitask. He drew this during my sister’s boisterous 21st birthday party. There was sangria, music, hockey and basketball, tons of food, everyone shouting over one another. Dad being the richly introspective soul that he is took in all that noise and channeled into this gorgeous drawing. I have a feeling a busboy and a waitress were fighting over who got to take it home!

Table Doodle
This is a quick doodle I did on the paper table cloth ( isn’t that a contradiction - paper cloth ) at Pizza Rock while celebrating my daughter’s birthday. I always wonder if someone keeps these or if they throw them out without looking. One will never know.
William Morris 1883
William Morris was the driving force behind the Arts and Crafts, which was anti-industrial.   The Arts and Crafts movement emphasized craftsmanship, quality, and simplicity. Craftsman homes, with their linear lines, natural relaxed elegance, and large low pitched roofs, the most recognizable symbol of their movement are everywhere here in America, they were considered to be anti-Victorian style. In my neighborhood these to styles contrast each other on every block. Something like this today would be designed using a computer which is kind of sad, many of our products and decor today lack a human touch.
